English mint was once famous as the best in the world - prized for it's delicious fresh scent and flavour, but a shift to more intensive food production during World War 2 meant that its cultivation died out. However, the farm we source from has spent more than a decade re-learning and fine-tuning the skills needed to grow great quality peppermint tea. They have nurtured and mastered the art of growing Black Mitchum peppermint - a heritage variety with a wonderful clean and zingy taste. They even make their own superb quality peppermint essential oil which is then infused onto the dried tea leaves to give them an extra refreshing quality.
